![]() I promised to get back to the forum if I found interesting differences between the NEC/i1 and my original DataColor Spyder4 sensors (both used with SpectraView II software). My new PA272 is now running and I've calibrated both it and my original one with a new NEC/i1 sensor. I certainly wouldn't pay $250, that's just complete robbery. Then I'd get some black foamcore and an Xacto. I sort of doubt the hood is included but it'd be worth a call to their support line they're usually pretty accommodating. I can't believe they are almost tripling the price for the 30. ![]() $249 ($279 from NEC) for 3 crappy pieces of plastic? When I got my 272 monitor, it was on sale but not w/ free hood and the 27" hood was $109. It would be great to get a free hood for my 30in monitor especially since the cheapest one on-line I could find was for $249. I ordered the 30in NEC PA302W-BK without software (already have and the puck from the PA272W NEC) for my significant other for Christmas.one question - do the refurbished units qualify for a free hood? See this offer from NEC:
